We have now received an official
invitation to go out to Castelldefels, (Barcelona), and compete
for the "friendly Trophy". This was awarded to their team last
July and we would like it back. The date for this will be the
weekend of June 7th and 8th. This falls on a half term week,
hopefully we can get it organised quickly.
In addition to ourselves and our
hosts there will also be a Polish team competing for the first
time which should make it interesting. The local Spanish Council
are getting involved and are trying to negotiate hotels for us.
In order to do this I need to know numbers fairly quickly, if
you could let me know the numbers in your party that would be
great. We need now to get our fund raising back into full gear
and any sponsorship would be welcome.
As more information is received I
will pass it on, maybe we should set up a committee to control
fundraising, new kit, tee shirts etc.

December 2007 Please Read
To all parents of Mumbles Rangers under11 players.
The time has come for the
flights to be booked, I need all of you to let me know who and
how many in your party will be travelling. If you do not pass on
that information by Friday 14th December then you will have to
make your own arrangements. So hurry up and let me know. The
quicker we can do this the cheaper it will be. The club has now
been informed and will support us in our fund raising efforts.
