Mumbles Rangers Under 11
Saturday 17th November  2007 @ Ashlands

Game 1

Mumbles Rangers 1 Port Tennant Colts 2

This fixture is always a close game and this one was no different. Port Tennant going ahead after some concentrated pressure. Rangers responded quickly and after some good possession the mid-field started to get the edge particularly Joe,( Psycho), Yeates gaining control and allowing Lewis, (the net buster,) Jones an easy equaliser. Now with their tales in the air Mumbles got a bit slack with their marking and paid the price gifting Port Tennant the winner.

Game 2
Mumbles Rangers 3 Sanfields 1

After going a goal down Rangers stepped up a gear and showed some real class to get the equaliser through Thomas,(superfoot), Brett. Rangers keeper Hamish, (the cat), Addey having not much to do carried on chatting with his mum, then some good combination football between Sam, (the man), George and Curtis, (the ice man), Mildenhall resulting in a super goal from Sam. More pressure from a rampant Rangers side put the game beyond Sandfields through Thomas,(superfoot), Brett's second.

Game 3
Mumbles Rangers 1 Mumbles Rangers Albion 1

In the second club derby in as many weeks it was the Rangers who dominated the first half, hitting the cross bar twice, the post once and forcing the Albion keeper into making some goal stopping saves. Against the run of play it was The Albion who went ahead through Ben Ryan scoring from in front of the posts. Again the Rangers continued to pile on the pressure. Elliot, (the terrier), Leggett was his usual rock solid self in the Rangers defence. More pressure from the Rangers finally paid off when Sam, (the man), George managed to create some space for him self and cool as you like slotted the ball past the motionless Albion keeper. The Rangers were now going for it and could have won in the dying second but for the shot at goal running just past the post by Joe, (psycho), Yeates.
